God loves Seattle…

And through God’s invitation, the Kim family along with a few others came together with some already in the city to join God’s restorative work in Seattle. Because God loves Seattle, He is doing a great work. And we desire to be led and empowered by His Spirit to join Him in that work. And so what are we to do in the meantime?

We wait for Him.

Just like the disciples in Acts 1 waited in the upper room for the promised Holy Spirit to come and guide their next steps, we wait for the direction and the empowerment of God. We prepare places of worship where we can usher God’s presence. We learn the spiritual rhythms of walking in relationship with Him. And we do so in community with each other. 

And we would love for you to join His story here at our church.

And that’s where any of our stories begin. God loves us.

And for this particular community, God’s love was displayed through putting a desire in the heart of Pastor Josh for two things: church planting and the city of Seattle. Unsure how all this would come to fruition, God provided an opportunity for him and his wife to serve the Church of Southland in Anaheim, CA (a fellow AMI church) where his philosophy of ministry had a Copernican revolution: 

God is doing a great work, and because He loves us, He invites us to join in that work.
It’s not our great idea. It’s His.
